Winners of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Best Renovated Kitchen in 2009, Devlin Interiors are registered builders specialising in high end kitchen and bathroom renovations. Established in 1999, Devlin Interiors continues to be a successful family owned business.

Director Phillip Devlin, a registered building practitioner with memberships with HIA and the Building Commission of Victoria, has over 15 years experience in the industry. He continues to push for new and innovative ways to improve his company and their approach to designing new or renovated kitchens and bathrooms.

This 1950s weatherboard house, situated in a prime Williamstown location overlooking the Hobson’s Bay Marina, was once a Bed and Breakfast comprising four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Devlin Interiors completed the entire overhaul which included renovating the property’s living and entertaining areas.

Featured are the kitchen and main bathroom which stand out within this home due to the clever and creative design solutions Devlin Interiors came up with.

Originally two back to back bathrooms, a dividing wall was removed to create one spacious area featuring a large Cube vessel basin, contemporary shower and creative tiling. With hydronic panel and towel rails and energy saving LED lighting, the white gloss two-pack polyurethane vanity with reconstituted stone benchtop is the bathroom’s focal point.

Wanting an aesthetically appealing kitchen built for entertaining, this open plan kitchen is highly functional, featuring French doors that open onto the home’s decked outdoor area. With Smeg appliances, a metallic glass splashback, tiled flooring, stainless steel mitred bar handles and statement pendant lighting, the modern space is complete with a contemporary island bench with recycled timber benchtop.

Over the years Phillip and his team have been involved in a variety of projects, from modern and contemporary to period style homes. The success of Devlin Interiors comes from the multitude of satisfied clientele who have witnessed first hand their passion in creating dream kitchens and bathrooms.
