Designed and built by Kitset Kitchens in conjunction with the homeowner, the result of the featured project is a kitchen of splendour. Kitset Kitchens is a proud Australian owned and family operated company and a happy partner with Channel 7’s Auction Squad, providing fantastic kitchen solutions for their projects.

Being the focal point of the home, the stunning featured kitchen was thoughtfully designed to fit functionally and aesthetically into a very carefully planned renovation, and is fitted with all Australian products from the Kitset Kitchens factory in Hamilton.

The owners requested a kitchen that would be highly functional and well priced. The space had to accommodate their lifestyle and therefore suit family living, while keeping in mind the ambience of the residence.

One of the main design considerations was keeping a door style that replicated many of the original doors throughout the house. The large granite island bench allows easy use for food preparation, homework and family breakfasts.

Another thing that was considered at the design stage was to construct a good sized pantry for optimum storage.

Plenty of drawers and cabinetry were installed throughout the kitchen, finished in antique white vinyl crystal to enhance storage space.

The kitchen not only works well for cooking, entertaining and all family purposes, it also fits well into this home. The recycled Tasmanian oak flooring sourced to match the older part of the home has added warmth and the very stylish Verde Giada granite benchtop created a superb classic finish to the kitchen.
