CLASSY AND FUNCTIONAL KITCHENS

It was important for L T Nickson & Burke’s clients to have a spacious kitchen so that their family could move around the room with ease – cramped conditions wouldn’t have sufficed.
 
The homeowners consider the kitchen the hub of their house and it was vital that the company recognised and accommodated this important lifestyle consideration.
 

L T Nickson & Burke responded to the brief by allowing a large central space in the room. The kitchen could be described as a ‘contemporary classic’, as it unites a use of modern finishes with a traditional style.

A large walk-in pantry was also incorporated into the design, performing the role of a great space saver and a complementing feature to the rest of the room.

Light coloured flooring, doors and cabinetry enhance the spacious feel of the room, while the durable, dark coloured Verde Uba Tuba natural granite benchtop provides plenty of space for food preparation. Doors and panels were painted in matte Tesrol Classic White paint.

The glass splashback was painted so as to match the colour of the walls, and the kickboards also coordinate with the rest of the décor, giving the kitchen a coordinated and classic aesthetic.

Lighting in the kitchen is supplied by LV Halogen lights, and natural light also filters in through the numerous windows. Modern Miele appliances were installed in the kitchen.
