The clients required functionality that didn’t compromise on style or appeal. The major features of this kitchen are the use of quirky, curved cabinetry, matched with metallic finishes and aluminium overhead doors. There is ample preparation space provided as the kitchen makes use of stunning recessed display units, smart, bi-fold lift system storage and generous countertops.
Creatively connected to the outdoor entertaining area, this kitchen is a fantastic space for entertaining as well as family meals. The quirky curved walls of this kitchen created a design challenge for Valencia Cabinets to create cabinetry that would match and complement this modern, architectural design. Further, the client desired doors that not only linked the kitchen area to the entertainment area, but also supported the architectural aspects of the kitchen. It was an original and welcome challenge for the Valencia designers.
The doors and panels of this ultra modern design feature aluminium finishes and, in the case of the cabinetry, a 60 per cent semi gloss neutral finish. The imported French handles complement the design wonderfully, as does the gorgeous CaesarStone benchtop, marble flooring and the glass splashback. The neutral paint colour breaks up this fantastic mix of colour and finishes, opening the kitchen up and creating a sense of depth and space.
